HCC Coleman Campus students must obtain a library card before they can gain access to TMC Library resources.

To apply for a library card PATRONS MUST USE THEIR HCC INSTITUTIONAL EMAIL ADDRESS and follow the proceedings steps:

1. The student reaches out to the TMC Library to request a library card here: https://library.tmc.edu/library-card-registration-form/

2. TMC Library staff reaches out to Alma Jenkins Moore, PT Testing Assistant/Proctor at Student Services, at: alma.moore@hccs.edu to verify HCC Coleman Campus status.

3. Alma Jenkins Moore verifies that student is a Coleman Campus student and provides student with current registration code.

4. Student completes the TMC Library card registration here: https://library.tmc.edu/library-card-registration-form/.

5. Within 2 business days of being issued a TMC Library card, students will be notified to activate their OpenAthens account.

6. Students will complete the OpenAthens registration form here: https://register.openathens.net/library.tmc.edu/register.

To obtain remote access:

STEP 1: Obtain a TMC Library card.

STEP 2: Within 2 business days of being issued a TMC Library card, students will be notified to activate their OpenAthens account.

STEP 3: Complete the OpenAthens registration form: Registration for OpenAthens.

To find print books, click on Catalog. Please keep in mind that we are transitioning from print to online eBooks so most of the newer titles will be in digital format only.

To find online books, click on eBooks.

To find journals (both in print and online), click on Journals.
