RefWorks

RefWorks is a web-based citation manager you can use wherever you have an internet connection. It gives you an online workspace to save citations you find while doing research. RefWorks also provides users with tools that you can use to format papers.

What's the difference between sharing a folder and sharing a project?

Sharing a folder allows you to share a list of references by creating a public URL to the folder and allows you to give authorized users* permission to read, annotate, or modify references or documents from your folder. Sharing a project allows authorized users* to have full access to add, delete and edit references, folders, documents, and delete the project.

*In order to share a folder or project in RefWorks, it is important to share the folder or project using the email address the user used to create a RefWorks account. Confirm the email address they used to create an account before sharing the folder or project.
