Publishing Support at the TMC Library

Summary of the benefit:

• Immediate open access:    $500 discount -- $5,495 per article 
• Brief Report articles:         $2,520 per article   
• (All Brief Report articles are immediately open access upon publication)

All PNAS articles, regardless of their license, are free within six months of publication.

Eligibility:

• Must have a corresponding author affiliated with an institution served by the TMC Library. This includes: UT Health, Baylor College of Medicine, Prairie View A&M College of Nursing, Texas Southern University, College of Pharmacy and Health Science, Houston Community College - Coleman Campus, and UT MD Anderson
• Choose immediate open access (not delayed) for article publication.

Getting Started:

• Local authors should follow submission guidelines for the journal and confirm eligibility for the discount in the author submission process.
