1. Search Subject Headings for the first concept in your research question. Click on CINAHL Headings.

2. Enter your search term and click Search.

3. Click on the link for the desired subject heading from the list provided.
|
4. Scroll down to find the designed subject heading.
|
5. Select all appropriate subject headings.
|
6. Scroll up and click Add to Search.
|
7. The Subject Heading will appear in the first search line. Use the second search line to search for keywords related to the your concept. Select Title and Abstract - XB for the second search field. Connect the two lines with OR and click Search.

8. After performing the search, click on CINAHL Headings to search the next concept.
|
9. Type in your search term and click Search.
|
10. Select the hyperlink of the appropriate subject heading from the list.
|
12. Select all appropriate subject headings.
|
13. Scroll up and click Add to Search.
|
14. The Subject Heading will appear in the first search line. Use the second search line to perform a keywords related to the your concept. Select Title and Abstract - XB for the second search field. Connect the two fields with OR. Click on search.

15. Once all concepts have been searched, click on Recent Activity to view your search history.
|
16. Click the X to clear the search bar.
|
17. Select line S1 and S2 from the search history and combine with AND.
|
18. Click on Search.
18. Review search results.
