I am the Research and Instruction Librarian Liaison for the McGovern Medical School, McWilliams School of Biomedical Informatics, and the MDA UTHealth Graduate School of Biomedical Sciences. My professional expertise is in supporting research in health sciences through education focused on expert literature searching, citation management, and information literacy. I have experience with public health initiatives, biomedical databases, and health literacy through my time with the National Library of Medicine (NLM). I am also interested on ways librarians can support health literacy, particularly through graphic medicine. Outside of work, I enjoy playing tennis, traveling, and almost all things geek-related.
