RefWorks is a web-based citation manager you can use wherever you have an internet connection. It gives you an online workspace to save citations you find while doing research. RefWorks also provides users with tools that you can use to format papers.

How to Migrate your Legacy RefWorks Data into your New RefWorks Account

1. Sign into your RefWorks account at

2. Click on Add and Import References.

3. Under import from another reference manager select Legacy RefWorks.



‚Äč4. Authorize to import references into account. 

5. Sign in to your Legacy Refworks account.


6. Congratulations! You have successfully migrated references from your legacy Refworks account to your new Refworks account.
