Legacy RefWorks

Import citations directly from ScienceDirect! Here's how:

1. From the search results page, select the citation you want to import into Refworks. Then click Export near the top of the search results page or underneath the citation.
   
   
    
2. Click on RIS Format. Then download and save the file.  
   
   
    
3.  Log into your RefWorks account and click on References, then select Import.
   
   
    
4. Select RIS Format as your Import Filter/Data Source and RIS Format as your database. Then choose your file and click on Import.
   ** You do not need to import into a folder, but it is recommended to help keep your citations organized and easy to find. **
