Some important things about visitor access privileges:
The TMC Library is a non-profit library funded by various Texas Medical Center Institutions which means all our licensing agreements with publishers are negotiated with access for those institutions in mind.
Due to licensing restrictions, we are unable allow visitors remote access to our electronic resources.
These restrictions are set by the licenses and if we are found in violation of them by granting illicit access, we could lose the resources completely.
Anyone who visits the library has full access to the libraries resources, both in print and online.
Bring a valid driver's license or ID. You will need this in order to get a visitor's badge!
A visitor's badge is required for the duration of your visit to the library. When you leave, turn in the badge.
If you want to access electronic journals and databases, stop by the Circulation Desk to request a Temporary Resource Access Username/Password.
